All the snacks and extra materials provided are either from previous ticket funds from film festivals and our own pockets. While this might be our dream to grow this little collective and do this more often and consistent, both Eli and I work our own full-time jobs and have trouble keeping up with everything. I haven't set up a donation link yet, but I will at some point soon.
We could never be in the place we are currently without the help of our growing community. They have hosted us so graciously for the last couple of months and do a ton for the Chicago artist community.
We fully recogonize how lucky we are to have such a wonderful network of care and support from our community and friends. We don't have a huge network or grasp, but if we can lend a hand in any way by spreading the word, we also like to shoutout any mutual aid opportunities during our events. Before and ending an event, we like to encourage our attendees to show their support by donating to the spaces that host us or to any mutual aid opportunities.
